Vincenzo Trani is an international entrepreneur, founder, and leader of companies operating in diverse sectors, ranging from finance and wealth management to credit and car-sharing.
He began his professional career as a cashier at Monte dei Paschi di Siena in Italy and quickly rose to the position of branch manager. After relocating to Russia in 2000, he held various significant roles, including Senior Consultant for the microfinance development project at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Deputy CEO at KMB Bank (now Banca Intesa), and Vice President at MDM Bank (now Bank Otkritie).
Trani founded General Invest, a wealth management company, broker, dealer, and custodian services provider specializing in private wealth management. Today, it is recognized as one of the leading companies in its sector in Central Asia.
In 2011, he inaugurated the Carnelutti Law Firm in Moscow, renowned for its expertise in the international corporate legal consulting market.
In 2015, Trani launched Delimobil, which has evolved into a publicly traded car-sharing company and is now a global leader in the sector. Initially, Delimobil planned a listing on the New York Stock Exchange, filing for an IPO on October 8, 2021, aiming for a valuation exceeding $900 million. In 2024, Delimobil was listed on the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) and operates with over 31,000 cars in various Russian cities, boasting a customer base of over 11 million users. Additionally, through the brand Anytime, Trani expanded the car-sharing business into various countries in the EMEA and Eurasian regions such as Czechia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
From 2019 to 2022, Trani served as President of the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce (CCIR).
In February 2020, Trani was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of the Star of Italy, a prestigious honor given to Italian citizens living abroad in recognition of their exceptional contributions to promoting friendly relations and cooperation between Italy and other nations.
Vincenzo Trani graduated in Economics and Business Management from La Sapienza University. He also studied Economics and Management at the Institute of International Economic Relations in Saint Petersburg, where he earned a degree in Law.
Vincenzo Trani is also very active in social initiatives. In addition to supporting various charitable activities, he founded the "Teresa Fund," a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting social initiatives and healthcare projects, with a particular focus on children and families in need. Furthermore, he established the “Joseph of Arimathea Asset Management Foundation,” a foundation that financially supports priests, monks, nuns, religious missionaries, and laypeople. These organizations are private and non-profit.
